Semester Program Integrated with the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo
This tailor-made style program caters to students with an interest in Food&Wine, who are highly motivated and wish to have an authentic study experience in a Northern Italian countryside campus.
Students are assisted in every phase of their program, from start to finish. Study in Italy interfaces with the home institution to make sure all courses taken in Italy are granted appropriate credit.
For the Pollenzo program, Study in Italy furnishes language training at its Genoa location prior to the start of the semester.
Pollenzo, a Neo-Gothic style village, is an ideal location for those who want to live in the marvelous countryside of Piedmont near Barolo and the famous Langhe wine district. Pollenzo was a royal estate and is now part of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The University of Gastronomic Sciences was founded in 2004 by the world-famous Slow Food association and is the first university dedicated entirely to gastronomy.
